As you may be aware, Export Access is a joint Government/private sector initiative which is being funded by the Commonwealth Government and delivered by the Australian Chamber of Manufactures (ACM) in co-operation with other national and regional industry associations.

When we set up the program, I was convinced that there are many opportunities for Australian goods and services in overseas markets, but that many small firms lack the resources and expertise to exploit them alone. I think that the number of firms applying to participate in Export Access supports this view.
